MORE ALTAMA BOOTS

Since 1969, Altama has been a military footwear supplier to the U.S. Department of Defense.  Our first production boots were used by our armed forces in the jungles of the Pacific Rim.   Those boots were popularly called jungle boots (olive drab canvas and leather uppers with drainage vents) and featured a basic but very effective outsole known as the Panama sole.  Although no longer a U.S. military specification outsole, the Panama sole remains a favored bottom with our veterans and international customers.  Altama proudly continues to manufacture and market boots utilizing the original Panama bottom with the original jungle boot specs.  

Realizing the hard duty and long hours our military personnel face every day, Altama has developed a line of off duty/recreational comfort shoes built on our heritage of producing reliable, durable, and comfortable military/combat boots.  We proudly introduce Panamoc™ by Altama.  Panamoc™ is a line of comfort footwear designed to appeal to our core customers and is engineered for maximum comfort and durability.  Key features of our Panamoc™ line include:
